Maria Luiza Munhoz is a Brazilian film editor based in the UK, known for her work across documentaries, fiction shorts, and animation. In Brazil, she worked as both an editor and post-production coordinator, with her films selected for major festivals such as Tiradentes and Brasília Film Festival. Currently completing her Editing MA at the National Film and Television School, her recent projects, including a Best Student Film winner at Purbeck, have screened at Flatpack (UK), Minimalen (Norway), and Natur Vision (Germany), among other festivals. With roots in Latin American cinema, Maria's approach to filmmaking bridges Brazilian and European storytelling traditions, creating edits that feel both authentic and universal.
